Rewriting urls in the htaccess

Post by Bryx »

Hi,

I installed the htaccess that was in the cache of the extension at the root of the /www/ folder however, it still doesn't work, any idea?

A quick note, I think it would be nice to have some documentation.

Yeah, I have to agree. Some documentation would be nice.

I installed the extension, but what now?

I might have to give up, it seems way too complicated with no instructions.

Hi, please write exactly the .htaccess code to use.
After installing the extension I cannot find anything to configure in ACP!?
Please let us have a step-by-step documentation!

2.0.0.b6

I cant see any possibility to configure after activating the extension.
Is it ok, that the directory /meta does not exist anymore?

Because in ACP I got two errors:

"Extension „phpbbseo/meta“ is invalid.
This file could not be located: ./../ext/phpbbseo/meta/composer.json"

missing modul "ACP_MOD_REWRITE"

are u trying to update ur phpBB? from version 3.0 ?
u should put the extensions files into "phpbbseo/meta" and "phpbbseo/usu" exactly, once uninstall and again install it.

No it's a first time installation.

When I try do uninstall "Ultimate phpBB SEO Friendly URL" error "missing modul "ACP_MOD_REWRITE" is showing up.
Uninstall stopped."
How can I enable ACP_MOD_REWRITE?

After installation and activating the extension, the board is not reachable anymore. I have to manually remove the extension via ftp, then the board works again.
What needs to be in .htaccess (which codes)?
